Be Scene Advertising, Video Productions, & Web Design has been a long time in the making. Stuart Jewett, founder and owner of Be Scene, has been in the advertising business for over 25 years. After working 3 ½ years in radio, Stuart went to work in the Ad Sales Department of Time Warner Cable in Lima, Ohio. There, Stuart sold advertising schedules on many various cable networks like CNN, Fox News, Lifetime, USA Network, ESPN, etc, scheduling ads on as many as 40 top brand cable networks through out Western Ohio. In doing so, one of Stuart’s responsibilities was to produce :30 and :60 second commercials for television advertisers.
In June of 2005 Stuart invested his own earnings, and started what is now known as Be Scene Advertising, Video Productions & Web Design. Be Scene has produced hundreds of television commercials, and dozens of long form videos, Web Sites, Web Site Videos, and so much more.
We are a full service agency, and one of our many services is video production. We can professionally video tape your event, edit it, and produce as many or as few DVDs as you need. These same videos can be even be placed for viewing on your web site. When it comes to video and DVDs, we've got you covered. But we do a lot more here at Be Scene. Advertising is another of our specialties. Whether it's a television commercial, business sign, billboard, brochure, or other printed material, Be Scene can always assist you in your efforts to be seen. And of course we can always offer you the addition of an online presence by designing a web site for your business or organization. We have a full service web site design team that can create a site from scratch, give your old site a face lift, or update your current site. We can also help get a new business off the ground by creating a corporate identity with a professional logo design that can be used in any of the above mentioned services.
Meet the Team
Dave Stockton is a graduate of Hocking College where he studied Broadcast Production & Engineering. Dave has always been driven to improve himself, so in August he is leaving to attend Ohio University and get a Bachelor's Degree in Communications Engineering. While we will miss Dave superb work, we wish him well in his future endeavors.
Darin Hohman is a BGSU Graduate, and has been a long time video producer. While doing work for Toledo PBS, Darin has also been creating excellent videos for us here at Be Scene. We feel fortunate that Darin and his wife have moved back to the Van Wert area so that we can be graced by his presence in our studio. We are especially happy with his advanced camera work and editing techniques in which he specializes. Magic is what Darin brings to Be Scene.
Johnathan Cowdrick comes to us after nine years of graphics and web design work at one of the largest home builders in America, All American Homes®. Here at Be Scene, Johnathan works primarily on innovative web sites, but also produces ads, graphics for videos, and much more. His knowledge and experience have been extremely useful here at Be Scene.
Candace Aisenbrey is another one of our web designers. Candy has had a hand in many of the web sites produced here at Be Scene. She is the one who writes and adds content, making the sites we produce engaging and a pleasure to view.
Amber Wiseman brings a lot to the table in our web design department. She has experience creating sites of all types, as well as ads and many other graphic related projects. Her creativity and hard work is helping Be Scene stay ahead of the curve in web design.
Abbi Price is the administrative assistant for the Be Scene clan. With 14 years experience, 12 of those being with the county of Van Wert, Abbi keeps this place running like a top. We are happy to have her.
